What's Been Said...
“The staff as a whole is great. Individualized members are very helpful, courteous and very attentive to your needs. The activities are very well planned and they are of a variety that is pleasing. A favorite activity is when trips are planned for outings to the outdoors (i.e., parks, concerts, plays, etc.). We enjoy things like these.”
Henry and Iris C., residents of Villa de San Antonio

Life Enrichment
You've worked hard for your retirement and now is the time to reward yourself at Villa de San Antonio where our life-enrichment department works hard to provide a diverse assortment of amenities and activities to improve your retirement lifestyle.

The core of Villa de San Antonio's life-enrichment program is to partner with our residents to create a program that represents their desires, goals and dreams. It's not so much Villa de San Antonio's life-enrichment program, but rather, it's the residents of Villa de San Antonio's life-enrichment program.

As part of your independence at Villa de San Antonio, you are open to a variety of clubs, activities, amenities and events through life-enrichment. All of our programs are designed to improve the quality of our residents' lives and to help them stay active and vital as they age gracefully with dignity and joy.

Are you wondering what some of these activities might be? Our residents enjoy physical activities such as easy yoga, light exercise class and diet clubs. Some of the intellectual and educational opportunities here include computer training, knitting classes, crafts, guest speakers, art appreciation and book clubs. Recreational activities, including board and card games, surfing the Internet, swimming in the heated outdoor pool and watching classic films are some of the many ways our residents entertain themselves. Spiritually, with an onsite chapel and Mass offered, residents can practice their faith. They can also further develop their spiritual side with Bible study groups and other activities and events through our pastoral care department. Our residents enjoy taking a break and kicking back with root beer float socials, resident BBQs, happy hours and gatherings at the cantina. Plus, life-enrichment plans many opportunities for travel outside of the community where residents can enjoy day trips, shopping and more.

Beyond the activities organized by life-enrichment, residents are open to a lot of great things outside of the community thanks to being a short car or bus ride away from downtown San Antonio.
